It was Bombay calling again this week which began on a high note with the launch of Chandon x Manish Malhotra. Chandon India collaborated with couturier Manish Malhotra to launch two limited edition bottles. The event was held at Estella and yes, you guessed it, was definitely a #majorrager. That too on a Monday night.
The event was impeccably organised and the venue looked stunning and of course attended by Bombay’s who’s who – Karan Johar, Shamita Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Monica Dogra and me haha
I personally think that the bottles look fabulous – extremely sexy (especially the black and gold one). Chandon is definitely the coolest sparkling brand in the market who has without a doubt, aced their marketing.
This a first for both brands, Manish Malhotra has designed two limited edition bottles for Chandon Brut, the hero in the portfolio of three (Chandon Rosé and the recently launched Chandon Délice being the other two) Just in time for the festive season.
I feel Stéphane de Meurville, Managing Director, Moet Hennessy India and Sophia Sinha (Marketing head Chandon India) are to Chandon in India what Andy Warhol was to the marketing success of Absolut Vodka. I am sure Chandon’s massive penetration in a such short period of time into the Indian market will be a case study to reckon with in the best business schools.
Bombay is always a good time, and Monday night didn’t stop us from heading to an afterparty and calling it a night with sunrise.
The Limited Edition bottles are at the same price and I can’t wait to gift and receive them this festive season.
